AP457 Extracta Pro

Actichem’s AP457 Extracta Pro is a premium quality extraction detergent powder. This innovative emulsifier formulation has a well buffered pH, with a unique combination of solvents, detergents and water softeners for cutting through the toughest of soils, taking the “sweat” out of carpet cleaning. It is perfect for the hottest of truck mount cleaning systems and holds up to the ultra high heat therefore minimizing residual deposits and clogged spray jets.

Dilutions:     

Portable Extractors

• Mix 10 to 15g / 10Lt when cleaning using the single step process.
• Mix  8  to 10g / 10Lt when cleaning using the two step process.

Truck Mounts

• Mix 300g per 10Lt warm water to make the truck mount concentrate.
• Set the flow meter at 2 to 4 gallons per hour.
• Flow meter should be set at 2 gallons per hour for stain resistant carpets.

Application:

Single Step Cleaning Method (for light to medium soiling)

1. Prepare the carpet by thoroughly vacuuming the area to be cleaned.
2. Using the dilution rates specified above clean/extract the carpet using slightly overlapping strokes.
3. Realign the carpet fibres and assist the drying process.

Two Step cleaning Method (for medium to heavy soiling)

1. Prepare the carpet by thoroughly vacuuming the area to be cleaned and applying the relevant prespray treatment, providing the suggested dwell time and agitation.
2. Using the dilution rates specified above, rinse extract the carpet using slightly overlapping strokes.
3. Realign the carpet fibres and assist the drying process.

Tips:

• Move the wand slower over areas which are more heavily soiled.
• Use a dry stroke to dry the carpet faster.
